Meaning: He whose limbs are the world, Whose song and poetry are the essence of all language, Whose ornaments are the moon and the stars, to that great benevolent One, we bow humbly.

Gurur Brahmaa Gurur Vishnu

Gurur Devo Maheshwaraha

Gurur Saakshaat Parabrahma

Tasmai Shree Gurave Namah

Meaning: Know The Guru To Be Brahma Himself. He Is Vishnu. He Is Also Shiva. Know Him To Be The Supreme Brahman, And Offer Thy Adorations Unto That Peerless Guru.

Saraswati Namastubhyam

Varade kamaa rupini

Vidhyarambham karishyami

Siddhir bhavatume sada

Meaning: My humble prostrations unto Thee, O Goddess Saraswati. You are the fulfiller of all my wishes, I start my studies, with the request that I achieve perfection in them.
